KATIE STUCKY

Stage Manager & Audio Engineer

As a Stage Manager and Audio Engineer, I’m passionate about collaborating and finding joy in my work in every department.

I’ll graduate this May with a BFA in Stage Management and an emphasis in Sound Design from the Sargent Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University. Outside of school, I’ve worked professionally as an A2 for various St. Louis theatres, including The Muny, Repertory Theatre St. Louis, STAGES St. Louis, and St. Louis Theatre Circle Awards. I’ve professionally stage-managed productions ranging in scale from digital projects to summer stock to concerts with over 200 performers.

I spend my mornings taking Law classes and will receive a minor in Legal Studies. When I don’t have class, I volunteer at courthouses throughout St. Louis, helping self-represented individuals understand their rights and available resources. I’m most proud of my work at Mahala’s Hope, a program that uses equine therapy to assist women in recovery from substance use and trauma. I love to try new things in my free time and take every little moment I can find to be outside and soak up the sunshine. I love to travel and can’t wait to do so much more when I graduate!
